MEMORIAL AND TRIBUTE GIFTS

Making a gift in honor or in memory is a thoughtful and meaningful way to remember an important person in your life and support the mission of the War Memorial Center to honor the dead – serve the living. Click on Donate Now to designate your gift in honor or in memory of someone special.

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS

Recommend a gift from your donor-advised fund (DAF) to support the War Memorial Center’s programs and services for veterans. If your DAF participates, you can recommend a grant directly through DAF Direct.

CFC DONATIONS

CFC is the Combined Federal Campaign program for all federal employees. Please direct your workplace support by designating the War Memorial Center, CFC #48448, as your donation recipient.

LEGACY GIFTS

The War Memorial Center will work with you to help accomplish your estate planning goals. Gifts can be revocable or irrevocable. Provide for the future needs of the War Memorial Center in your will or trust, or designate the War Memorial Center as the beneficiary of your retirement account or life insurance policy.

STOCK GIFTS

Donating long-term appreciated stock is a smart charitable planning strategy that enables you to deduct the full fair market value of the stock at the time of your gift and eliminate capital gains taxes. A gift of appreciated stock enables you to donate more to the War Memorial Center compared to selling the stock and donating the proceeds.

WORKPLACE GIVING PROGRAMS

Employer Match Gift: Double or triple the impact of your gift through a corporate matching gift program!

• Check with your company’s human resource department to see if they offer an employer match program.
• Complete the appropriate form and submit it along with a copy of your gift receipt letter from the War Memorial Center.

United Way: If your company participates in the United Way campaign, you can designate the War Memorial Center under donor choice.
