Women in the Military 3-5

Students will get a basic overview of U.S. military branches and the combat eras in which women have served. Students will learn some of the ways women have been involved with military service and learn the stories of three local women veterans who served in WWII, the Vietnam War and Operation Iraqi Freedom & Operation Enduring Freedom.
