Women in the Military 9-12

This lesson takes a deeper look at the female service experience through writing prompts, reading activities, and video clips from the War Memorial Center’s Veterans Story Project. In studying women’s military service experience, students will learn about the Hello Girls of WWI, the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs) of WWII, the Army Nurse Corps during the Vietnam War, and more.
