The Quiet Warriors of the 6888th

This lesson explores the history and the mission of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion. This was the only all-female, African American unit deployed overseas during World War II. Milwaukeean Anna Mae Robertson proudly served in this unit and directly helped with the success of the mission.
