History Detectives

Through this lesson, students will learn how to think like historians. Like detectives, historians and archivists look at clues and sort through evidence to then make hypotheses and conclusions. Students will explore and evaluate primary sources including military and census documents, photographs, letters and artifacts to uncover stories and get a glimpse of the past.
