Decorating Our Heroes is a collection of short, informational texts, that will introduce students, teachers, and the community, to Wisconsin Veterans who earned various awards to include: the Silver Star, Navy Cross, Bronze Medal, and others. Their stories of courage and valor are an inspiration for all who learn about them and honor the mission of the War Memorial Center: Honor The Dead, By Serving The Living.
